It’s always fun when you know the crowd! Kelly and Justin’s day was fun from beginning to end – as evident in their photographs. So much happy!

Now this? was a party. Everyone in attendance came with one idea in mind: to have fun. We had fun. They had fun. The photos were fun.
Almost every wedding is made up of the same formula, if you will. The cake cutting, the bouquet toss, the garter throw, that one groomsmen who is rowdier than the rest… Yet every wedding is different and unique in its own way. Whether the couple strays from a garter throw to auction off the garter instead or surprises their guests with a wild first dance or adds their school pom-poms as party favors during the reception for even more flair on the dance floor — there is always something new. This makes it impossible for shooting weddings to ever get old or boring for me. I love it.
But this wedding? This was different for not just its unique details and ideas but because it was my sister’s wedding and I was fortunate to get to be the one to capture her big day. It wasn’t just a beautiful, well-planned wedding; it was an amazing experience and I am so lucky to have been a part of it as both a photographer and her sister.
Here is just a small slice of the infectious fun that was Lindsey and Roger’s wedding in Atlanta, Georgia…
It’s redundant to tell you how much fun this wedding was – from the people to the music to the venue to the favors. Wishing Lindsey and Roger a lifetime of fun… love you guys!
The York Family – David, Stephanie and Jadon – are friendly, familiar faces. I photographed them before in a park setting but this year we ventured out to the Ventura Pier for something different. It proved to be very successful. Where most little kids aren’t too sure about the loud, raucous ocean, Jadon couldn’t get enough and quickly got the hang of running in and running back out with the waves.
I really enjoy this family and can’t wait to watch Jadon grow up through photographs!
